The late voice actor Eric Bauza will make his debut on The Simpsons in a posthumous appearance scheduled to air on November 15, Deadline Film Adaptations and Variety both report. Bauza died suddenly on October 25 at the age of 46. Deadline Film Adaptations reports that the appearance comes in an episode titled Dream Scenari-Moe. [1][2][4]

According to Deadline Film Adaptations, Bauza was recently cast to voice two characters in the animated series, including a restaurateur named Mr. Fong and a newspaper editor named Harry Metsali. The outlet notes that appearing on The Simpsons was an achievement that had previously eluded the prolific performer during his career. [1]

Bauza had accumulated more than 400 acting credits throughout his career, Deadline Film Adaptations reports. He was born in Toronto, Ontario, and later moved to Los Angeles, California. He provided the voices for dozens of classic Looney Tunes characters, including Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Tweety, Foghorn Leghorn, Pepé Le Pew, Road Runner, Elmer Fudd, and Marvin the Martian. [1][8]

As FTMQ Books reported earlier, Bauza won three Emmy Awards for his voice acting performance work. The Hollywood Reporter notes that at the 2024 Annie Awards, Bauza used the voice of Daffy Duck to publicise a petition asking Warner Bros. to release the film Coyote vs. Acme. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner recorded his cause of death as hypertensive cardiovascular disease. [2][10]
