Director Nathan Fielder negotiated a kill switch clause with studio A24 prior to filming the Elizabeth Holmes documentary You Can See Everything, according to Variety and IndieWire. Co-director Lance Oppenheim revealed in an interview that Fielder was skeptical about crafting a sufficiently unique narrative. The agreement allowed the filmmakers to throw the project away if they failed to uncover adequate material. [1][6]

The documentary is currently performing strongly in North American movie theaters during its second weekend in release. The Hollywood Reporter and Deadline both report that the film is projected to earn approximately 20 million dollars over the frame as it expands into more venues. It faces competition from the release of Clayface, which collected 10.4 million dollars on Friday, according to both outlets. [2][3]

The feature follows Elizabeth Holmes, the founder of defunct health technology company Theranos, alongside her partner Billy Evans. They permitted a camera crew to record their lives in the weeks before Holmes began her federal prison sentence for defrauding investors. As FTMQ Books reported earlier, the A24 documentary initially grossed 15 million dollars during its opening weekend, while Sony Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions acquired the international distribution rights.
