Author Colleen Hoover and film producer Lauren Levine are expanding their production company, Heartbones Entertainment, Publishers Weekly reported. The duo founded the studio in 2023 with the initial goal of adapting Hoover's popular novels for the screen. [1]
Heartbones Entertainment has released three feature films based on books by Hoover, according to Publishers Weekly. The production company is also currently developing a television series, and the founders plan to expand the business beyond Hoover's own intellectual property. [1]
Feature film adaptations of Hoover's books include the 2026 romance movie Reminders of Him, directed by Vanessa Caswill from a screenplay by Hoover and Levine, according to Wikipedia. Additionally, as FTMQ Books reported earlier, the film adaptation of her novel Verity achieved a global opening weekend box office total of 62.1 million dollars. [2][3]
Levine worked as a producer on children's and family films for nearly 15 years before teaming up with Hoover, Publishers Weekly reported. Hoover originally began her career as a self-published writer before finding widespread commercial success. [1]
