Arts Council England and Inpress to fund independent publishers at trade fair

Arts Council England and sales agency Inpress will support 12 small independent publishers to participate in the London Book Fair in 2027, The Bookseller reported. The event is scheduled to take place from March 16 to March 18, 2027, at the ExCeL London exhibition centre. [1]

According to The Bookseller, the funding scheme provides a shared stand to serve as a base for independent publishers to conduct business meetings and show titles. Each chosen press will receive full delegate access for its staff members alongside a stock display shelf on the Arts Council England stand. Inpress stated that attendance costs are frequently prohibitive for smaller presses despite the significant trade benefits of participating. [1]
