Anne Carson receives 2026 Nobel Prize in Literature

Canadian poet, essayist, and translator Anne Carson has won the 2026 Nobel Prize in Literature, LEADERSHIP Newspapers reported. The 76-year-old writer was recognized by the Swedish Academy for her inventive oeuvre and her ability to create new forms for contemporary literature through engagement with classical traditions, according to the outlet.
